1. Living Lab description
Turku University of Applied Sciences Living Lab for Well-being and ICT (TWICT) coordinates several physical and virtual living labs inside Turku University of Applied Sciences (TUAS).
Agro Living Lab focuses on usability and user-centred design for technologies in agriculture and forestry.Agro Living Lab locates in Finland, in the region of Seinäjoki which has a strong competence in the sectors the living lab is focusing on. It is a co-operation concept of Seinäjoki Technology Centre Ltd. and Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences.
The Lahti Living Lab promotes innovation in a challenging environment: Lahti has no university of its own and a low level of research input. To overcome these facts, the Lahti region has launched a network facilitating innovation policy, which aims at finding the seeds of innovations from the practice and daily life.
JAMK University of Applied Science in Central Finland is developing a modern residential area of Jyväskylä called Lutakko into a user-driven innovation, development and learning environment. Himos tourism resort in Jämsä takes part in the development activity as well through a Living Lab methodology. HumanTech LL includes Lutakko Living Lab and Himos Experience Lab.
