The European Week of Regions and Cities (also known as the Open Days) is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance.
ENoLL is thrilled to announce the 2016 Design for Europe summit! The event is hosted in Tallinn, Estonia on the 6th of October and is a free, day-long event that wants to demonstrate the transformational effect of design within European businesses and governments and provide solutions for future economic growth.

FIWARE will be present at the IoT Solutions World Congress 2016 in Barcelona on the 25-27th October.
The second edition of this event will offer an international environment with more than 8,000 visitors and will focus on IoT solutions in six dedicated areas: Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy & Utilities, Transportation & Logistics, Innovation and Technology.
On Friday, 23 September 2016, ENoLL has joined the Info Day on Smart Cities and Communities that was hosted by the European Commission. The event targeted potential applicants to the Smart Cities & Communities topic of the 2016-2017 Horizon 2020 Work programme ‘Cross-cutting activities’, Smart and Sustainable Cities Call.
On Monday 19 September, ENoLL President Tuija Hirvikoski has been invited to participate at the roundtable of the Open Science Policy Platform. Ms Hirvikoski has also been nominated as a member of the platform.
The European Commission (DG CONNECT) is looking for all types of projects that provide citizens with high-speed broadband internet– irrespective of size, location, technologies, led by public or private organisations.
