ANNOUNCEMENT: OpenLivingLab days 2017 hosted in Krakow

We have announced in our December newsletter that the 8th edition of OpenLivingLab Days will be hosted in Krakow, Poland between 29 August to 1 September.

2016 Annual Meetings of « Francophonie Living Labs » in relation with the Entretiens Jacques Cartier, Lyon & St Etienne (21-23 November)

The annual meetings of « Francophonie Living Labs » were initiated in 2015 in the context of the France-Quebec cooperation project (2015-April 2017 CPCFQ 65th edition) related to the consolidation of the Francophone network of Living labs and in relation to the famous "Entretiens Jacques Cartier".

For the first time the European Network of Living Labs is launching “Best Living Lab Project Awards” of 2016.

Call for tender: ENoLL Website creation and development

In March 2017, the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) aims to launch a new website. A primary objective for the website facelift is to simplify the user’s experience and incorporate a fresh new look, whilst improving the 'responsiveness' of the design making the site easier to view on multiple devices.

TOGETHER project - Search for training experts in the field of energy efficiency in public buildings

The consortium of the TOGETHER project - led by the Province of Treviso, Italian adherent member of ENoLL - is searching for 4 thematic experts that could provide 1-day training each during the Master Train-the-Trainer workshop taking place in Cracow (Poland) on the 20-23 of February 2017.

JRC report on data management in Citizen Science projects

In 2014 the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) organized the Citizen Science and Smart City Summit. At the summit, management of citizen-collected data was identified as a major barrier to the re-usability and integration of these contributions into other data-sharing infrastructures across borders.

New connections made at the Smart City Expo

ENoLL was present at the sixth edition of the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), on 15-17 November in Fira de Barcelona. The event was visited by more than 16,000 people and brought together 600 cities from five continents in the biggest-ever gathering of municipal authorities in the event's history. 

Call for external expertise: “MED Project and Policy Expert” - TALIA project

TALIA (Territorial Appropriation of Leading-edge Innovation Actions) is a new project under the Interreg MED Programme that has recently been approved and starts in November 2016.
