ENoLL active in Geneva next week during the IoT week 2017

ENoLL is involved in several activities in Geneva, Switzerland next week, as the 7th edition of the international IoT Week takes place from 6th to 9th of June 2017.

End-user engagement

Two workshops focused on end-user engagement will be organised by U4IoT project (User Engagement for Large Scale Pilots in the Internet of Things) during the IoT Week in the afternoons of Tuesday 6th and Thursday 8th of June. These workshops are co-facilitated by ENoLL, to support the citizen and multi-stakeholder engagement of the IoT Large Scale Pilot projects. Watch the introductory video of U4IoT and read more about the co-creation workshops from the IoT Week website.

SynchroniCity: IoT in the context of Smart Cities

ENoLL supports the presence of SynchroniCity initiative in IoT Week by leading the marketing and communication activities of the project. During the full-day workshop on Tuesday 6th of June, SynchroniCity is running four consecutive sessions focused on the Internet of Things for Smart Cities Convergence. In this context, panelists representing international organizations will be presenting and discussing current international initiatives in this domain: the reference models of IoT-enabled smart cities; the strategies for moving towards a common, open architecture model enabling the integration and interoperability of IoT platforms; the work currently being done towards standardization; the challenges and opportunities regarding personal data protection and more.

In addition to the all-day workshop on 6th June, the project will be present at the exhibition area with a booth co-located with the European IoT Large-Scale pilots programme and participates in several panel discussions. Throughout the week, ENoLL is supporting the coordination of IoT initiatives by being involved in project and horizontal activity group meetings.

Join us in the activities to enhance the coordination, co-creation and convergence in the domain of IoT!
